About Me

Karin-Liyah graduated from Mekief Vav School of Fine Arts in Israel. She studied piano and guitar and received seven years of vocal training throughout her childhood. Karin-Liyah began singing professionally at the age of 10. She gave her first live performance in Israel at the Cobra Festival. She continued entertaining the public at major national festivals, appeared on numerous Israeli talk shows,
Karin-Liyah had her own show called “Ladies Soul: Tribute to Aretha Franklin,” which became a big attraction to renowned nightclubs. She performed throughout the Middle East, Europe and North America. Karin-Liyah also has produced and written lyrics for her own CD’s as well as for other well known artists. Karin’s most recent production is a CD called “Desert Soul”. It is a unique blend of Soul, R & B, Hip-Hop and Blues with Middle Eastern flavors. Karin-Liyah has recently collaborated with the well-known Ude and
Violinist Samir Shokri, who has produced 17 albums of his own. Karin-Liyah has also recorded a top selling CD with the well-known artist, Rita, as well as Kool and the Gang.
2004-2005-New York City Performances- Red Lion Club(Bleeker St.),Canal Room(Soho),Village Underground (West 3rd st.), The Groove, Cupping Room, Larger Than Life Show with Alabina in Great Neck Long Island, Recorded with hit makers, Kool and the Gang on their new album.

2006- Performed at famous Las Vegas hotel and casino, The Venetian, before thousands of people. Televised performances for 2,000 people at The Millenium Theatre. Interview and live performance for Russian network television station, RTV. Deutche Bank hired Karin-Liyah to sing for their Superbowl commercial spot. Several corporate sponsors have flown Karin all over the world to perform for them in Miami, Georgia, Las Vegas, Amsterdam, Italy, London, Scotland, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.
